Dosage and Administration   

Dosage: 

• The recommended dosage of Winlevi cream is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the face, chest or back  twice daily. 

Administration: 

• Clean and dry your skin: Before applying Winlevi, gently wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. 
• Apply a Thin Layer: Squeeze a small amount of the cream onto your fingertips and apply a thin layer to the affected areas of your face, chest or back. Avoid getting the cream in your eyes, mouth, or inside your nose. 
• Use Twice Daily: Apply the cream in the morning and evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider. 
  

• ⁠Brimonidine Eye Drops (generic for Alphagan or Alphagan P) 

What is brimonidine eye drops? 

Brimonidine eye drops (generic for Alphagan), is a generic medication used to treat eye conditions like glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It belongs to a class of drugs called alpha agonists, which work by reducing the production of fluid in the eye and increasing its drainage, thereby lowering intraocular pressure. 

In addition to its use in treating glaucoma and ocular hypertension, brimonidine is also available in a lower strength eye drop to treat eye redness caused by minor irritations. It helps constrict blood vessels in the eye, reducing redness. 

Manufacturer   

Alphagan and Alphagan P (brimonidine tartrate) eye drops are manufactured by Allergan. 

Lumify is manufactured by Bausch & Lomb Inc.

 Can I use Brimonidine eye drops with other medications? 

You can usually use Brimonidine with other eye medications, but it's best to wait at least 5 minutes between applying different eye drops. 

Can I use Brimonidine eye drops while pregnant or breastfeeding? 

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before using Brimonidine eye drops. 

Dosage and Administration   

Dosage: 

• Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% -The typical dosage for adults  is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. 
• Brimonidne Tartrate P 0.15% - The typical dosage for adults is one drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart. 
• Brimonidine Tartrate 0.025% - The typical dosage for adults is one drop in the affected eye(s) every 6 to 8 hours 

Administration: 

• Wash Your Hands: Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water to prevent contamination. 
• Prepare the Eye Drops: Shake the bottle gently if required. Remove the cap, making sure not to touch the dropper tip to avoid contamination. 
• Application: Tilt your head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. 
  Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze one drop into the pocket. Be careful not to let the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface.
• Close Your Eye: Close your eye for a minute or two and gently press your finger to the inside corner of your eye (near your nose) to prevent the liquid from draining into your tear duct. 

Try not to blink or rub your eye. 

• Orilissa (elagolix) 

What is Orilissa? 

Orilissa is a prescription medication used to treat moderate to severe pain caused by endometriosis. Orilissa works by blocking the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) which reduces the production of certain hormones (luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone) resulting in lower amounts of estrogen. These lower levels of estrogen can result in a decrease in the symptoms of endometriosis.

Can I get pregnant while taking Orilissa? 

While Orilissa is not a contraceptive, it can affect your menstrual cycle. Use nonhormonal birth control methods to prevent pregnancy while taking Orilissa. 

Who should not take Orilissa? 

Orilissa is not recommended for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have severe liver issues. 

What should I do if I miss a dose? 

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.

• For Moderate Pain: The recommended dosage is 150 mg taken orally once daily (maximum treatment duration – 24 months) 
• For Severe Pain: The recommended dosage is 200 mg taken orally twice daily (maximum treatment duration – 6 months)   

Administration: 

• Take Orilissa Orally: Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. 
• Consistent Timing: Try to take your doses at the same time each day to maintain an even level of the medication in your body. 
• Do Not Crush or Chew: Do not crush, chew, or split the tablets, as this can affect the medication's effectiveness.
